മണവാളൻ തെയ്യം ഒരു പുരുഷ മുസ്ലിം തെയ്യമാണ്, ഇത് ഒരു നാടോടിക്കഥയെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ളതാണ്. ഒരു വ്യക്തിയുടെ  നിസ്വാർത്ഥ ത്യാഗത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായി കുടുംബത്തിന്റെയും പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെയും പുരോഗതിയാണ് മണവാളൻ  തെയ്യത്തിന്റെ കഥ. അവന്റെ മഹത്തായ പുണ്യ പ്രവൃത്തിക്ക്, വ്യക്തിക്ക് ഒരു തെയ്യം നൽകുകയും അത് വർഷം  തോറും അവതരിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട് മടിയൻ കൂലോം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ മെയ് 22, മെയ് 23 തീയതികളിലാണ്  മണവാളൻ തെയ്യം കെട്ടിയാടുന്നത്.

ശിരോവസ്ത്രത്തിനും ശരീര ചായത്തിനും തെയ്യം ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. ഏറെ അലങ്കരിച്ച തെയ്യമാണിത്.

Manavalan Theyyam is a male Muslim Theyyam based on a folk tale.

The story of Manavalan Theyyat is about the progress of the family and the region as a result of the selfless sacrifice of an individual. For his great pious work, the person was awarded a Theyyam and presented it annually.

On May 22nd and May 23rd, the bridegroom ties theyam at Kanhangad Madiyan Koolom temple in Kasaragod district.

Teyyam is notable for its headdress and body paint.

This is a highly decorated theyam.
