നായാട്ടു ദേവതകള്‍:
മുത്തപ്പന്‍ തെയ്യം ഒരു നായാട്ടു ദേവതയാണ്. വേലന്‍മാര്‍ കെട്ടിയാടുന്ന അയ്യപ്പന്‍ തെയ്യം മറ്റൊരു നായാട്ടു ദേവതയാണ്. മാവിലര്‍ കെട്ടിയാടുന്ന വീരഭദ്രന്‍, വീരമ്പിനാര്‍ എന്നീ തെയ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നായാട്ടു ധര്മ്മമുണ്ട്. വയനാട്ടുകുലവന്‍, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്‍ത്തി, തെക്കന്‍ കരിയാത്തന്‍, വേടന്‍ തെയ്യം, അയ്യന്‍ തെയ്യം, എമ്പെറ്റു ദൈവം, മലപ്പിലാന്‍, നരിത്തെയ്യം എന്നിവയെല്ലാം നായാട്ടു കര്‍മ്മവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട തെയ്യങ്ങളാണ്‌. മനുഷ്യര്‍ നായാടി നടന്ന കാലത്തെ അനുസ്മരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവങ്ങളാണ് ഇവയൊക്കെ എന്ന് പൊതുവേ പറയാവുന്നതാണ്.

Wayanatukulavan, Vishnumurthy, Tekan Kariyathan, Vedan Theiyam, Ayyan Theiyam, Mbetu Godu, Malapilan and Nariteiyam are all Theiyams associated with Nayatu Karma. In general, it can be said that these are the gods who remember the time when humans walked as dogs.
