Anthimahakali Theyyam, also known as Nageniyamma, is a rare theyyam seen during the annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival in Kannur region of Kerala. As per information this theyyam is deity that appeared from the anger of Shiva after hearing the death of Goddess Sati. Anthimahakali or Nageniyamma story is that of the deity fighting against evil kings and demons and then appearing in a tharavadu. Here she is given a place of worship and theyyam is performed annually to keep her calm and to get her blessings.
Anthimahakali theyyam is annually performed at Annur Sree Anthimahakali Nageniyamma Kottam Temple from May 3 to May 4.
