ARYAKKARA BHAGAVATHI ആര്യക്കര ഭഗവതി:

കോലത്ത് നാടു കാണാന്‍ ആരിയര്‍ നാട്ടില്‍ വന്ന ദേവിയാണ് ആര്യക്കര ഭഗവതി. ആഴികളേറെ കടന്നു വന്ന ദേവി ‘കടിഞ്ഞിക്കടവ്’ എത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ പൂത്ത പൂചെമ്പകമണത്താല്‍ ആകൃഷ്ടയായി കടവില്‍ ഇറങ്ങി. അള്ളട രാജാവിന്റെ (നീലേശ്വരം രാജാവിന്റെ) ശക്തി പരീക്ഷ മറി കടന്ന ദേവി വസൂരി ബാധിച്ച കണിക്കര അച്ഛനെ മൂന്നേ മുക്കാല്‍ നാഴിക കൊണ്ട് രോഗവിമുക്തനാക്കി.  കടിഞ്ഞിക്കടവിലെ പൂചെമ്പകച്ചോട്ടില്‍ ആര്യക്കര ദേവിയായി ഭഗവതി ആരൂഡം നേടി.  ആര്യക്കരയിലും അഞ്ഞൂറ്റമ്പലം കാവിലും പള്ളിപീഠം ലഭിച്ചു. ദേവിയുടെ ഇഷ്ടാര്‍ച്ചന ചെമ്പകപൂക്കളാണ്. അലയാഴിയിലേക്ക് നോക്കിയിരിക്കും വിധം പടിഞ്ഞാറു മുഖമായാണ് ദേവി കുടി കൊള്ളുന്നത്‌. വണ്ണാന്‍ സമുദായമാണ് ഈ തെയ്യവും കെട്ടിയാടുന്നത്‌.

ARYAKKARA BHAGAVATHI:

Aryakara Bhagavathy is the goddess who came to the land of Aryas to see the land of Kolat. When the goddess, who had come through deep waters, reached the ‘Kadinjikkadav’, she got attracted by the blossoming flowers and landed on the quay. Goddess Kanikara, who passed the test of strength of King Allada (King of Nileswaram), cured his father Kanikara of smallpox in three and a half hours. Bhagwati won Arudam as Aryakara Devi at Poochempakachot in Katinjikkadu. Aryakakara and Anjutambalam Kavi got church peeths. Copper flowers are the favorite of the goddess. The goddess is drinking facing west so that she looks towards Alayazhi. It is the Vannan community that binds this Theiyam.
