കൊങ്ങിണിച്ചാല്‍ ഭഗവതി
ഈ തെയ്യം ആദിപരാശക്തിയുടെ (മാതാവിന്റെ) പ്രകടനമാണ്. കൊങ്ങിണിച്ചാൽ ഭഗവതി തെയ്യം കഥ പ്രകാരം, അവൾ തന്റെ ഭക്തരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുകയും അവൾക്ക് ഒരു ആരാധനാലയമോ ആരൂഢമോ നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവളുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനും ശാന്തതയും ശാന്തതയും നിലനിർത്തുന്നതിനുമായി പ്രതിവർഷം ഒരു തെയ്യം കെട്ടിയാടുന്നു.
പകൽ സമയത്താണ് ഈ തെയ്യം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്, അതിന്റെ തനതായ മുടി (ദിവ്യ ശിരോവസ്ത്രം) കൊണ്ട് ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. വാളും പരിചയും കൈവശമുള്ള ഉഗ്രമായ തെയ്യമാണിത്.
