Memundanad Vettakorumakan Theyam appears before a devotee and helps him overcome various problems of life. He protects farm animals and devotee's property. An arudha or house is given to the deity at a holy place and a theiyam is tied to please the deity and get blessings.
The deity is worshiped to overcome various problems in life related to work, marriage and wealth. He is also capable of defeating his enemies.
Every year Memundanad Vettakorumakan Theyam is tied at Ezhilode Karat Sri Niliyar Bhagavathy Temple.
