നീലിയറ ഭഗവതി
നീലിയര ഭഗവതി (നീലിയറ ഭഗവതി) തെയ്യം കഥ പ്രകാരം, അവൾ അസുരന്മാരെ തോൽപ്പിക്കാൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു, പക്ഷേ അവളുടെ അനിയന്ത്രിതമായ ക്രോധം പ്രദേശത്ത് അസ്വസ്ഥത സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. ഒരു തീവ്ര ഭക്തനും അവൾ ദർശനം നൽകിയിരുന്നു. അവൾക്ക് ശരിയായ ആരാധനാലയം നൽകുകയും അവളുടെ ശാന്തതയും സൗമ്യതയും നിലനിർത്താൻ വർഷം തോറും ഒരു തെയ്യം കെട്ടിയാടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Niliyara Bhagavati (Niliyara Bhagavati) According to Theyam Katha, she appeared to defeat the Asuras, but her uncontrollable fury created unrest in the region.
She had also given darshan to an ardent devotee. A proper shrine was given to her and a theyam was tied annually to keep her calm and meek.
Niliyara Bhagavathy Theyam is celebrated annually at Alapatamp Mavila Tharavad Devasthanam Temple in Mathil, Kannur (March 9 and March 10) and at Alapatamp Kunnummal Tharavad Pulunthat Bhagavathy Temple in Kannur (February 28 to March 1).
