പന്തോകൂലോത്ത് ഭഗവതി
ഇത് ഭഗവതിയുടെ ഉഗ്രരൂപമാണ്. പന്തോകൂലോത്ത് ഭഗവതി തെയ്യം കഥ പ്രകാരം തച്ചോളി ഒതേനന്റെ പരദേവതയായിരുന്നു. തച്ചോളി ഒതേനന്റെ മരണശേഷം കറങ്ങിനടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. പന്തോകൂലോത്ത് ഇല്ലത്ത് അവൾ സ്ഥലം കണ്ടെത്തി. ഇവിടെ അവൾക്ക് ശരിയായ ആരാധനാലയം നൽകി, അവളുടെ ശാന്തതയും സൗമ്യതയും നിലനിർത്താൻ വർഷം തോറും ഒരു തെയ്യം കെട്ടിയാടുന്നു.
സാംക്രമിക രോഗങ്ങൾക്ക് നേരത്തെയുള്ള ശമനത്തിനും ആഗ്രഹസാഫല്യത്തിനും പാണ്ടൂക്കൂലോത്ത് ഭഗവതിയെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. ശത്രുക്കളെ തോൽപ്പിക്കാൻ അവൾ പ്രാപ്തയാകുന്നു.
തെയ്യത്തിന് തനതായ ശിരോവസ്ത്രമുണ്ട് (തിരുമുടി). തെയ്യം ഉത്സവകാലത്ത് കാണുന്ന ഏറ്റവും ഉയരമുള്ള തിരുമുടികളിലൊന്നാണിത്.
മാഹി പാണ്ടക്കൽ പന്തോകൂലോത്ത് പരദേവതാ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എല്ലാ വർഷവും ഏപ്രിൽ 12 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഏപ്രിൽ 13 മുതൽ ഏപ്രിൽ 14 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഏപ്രിൽ 15 വരെയാണ് തെയ്യം നടക്കുന്നത്. വിഷു നാളിൽ ഉത്സവം സമാപിക്കും.
Pantokuloth Bhagwathi
This is the fierce form of Bhagwati.
According to Pandukuloth Bhagavathy Theyam Katha, Thacholi was the deity of Othenan. After Thacholi Othenan's death, Shah was on the move. She found the place at Pandokuloth Illath. Here she is given a proper shrine and a Theyyam is tied annually to keep her calm and meek.
Pandukuloth Bhagwati is worshiped for early cure of infectious diseases and wish fulfillment. She is able to defeat her enemies.
Theyyat has a unique headdress (tirumudi).
This is one of the tallest tirumudis seen during Theyyam festival. Theyyam is held every year from April 12th or April 13th to April 14th or April 15th at Mahi Pandakal Pandakooloth Paradevata Temple. The festival will conclude on Vishu day.
