POLARAN പൊലാരൻ:
പൊട്ടന് തെയ്യത്തിന്റെ കൂടെ കെട്ടിയാടാറുള്ള ഒരു ഉപദേവതയാണ് പൊലാരന് തെയ്യം. പൊലാരന് തെയ്യത്തിന്റെ മുഖപ്പാള താരതമ്യേന ചെറുതാണ്. ഒരു ചുവന്ന നാട പൊയ്മുഖത്തിനു തൊട്ടു താഴെ കെട്ടിയിരിക്കും. പൊലാരനും മേലെരിയില് ഇരിക്കാറുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ ചില തറവാടുകളില് പൊട്ടന് തെയ്യത്തിന്റെ അമ്മ ദേവതയായി അമ്മ തെയ്യവും കെട്ടിയാടാറുണ്ട്.

Polaran Theyam is a sub-deity associated with Potan Theyam.
The face plate of the Polar Theyat is relatively short. A red ribbon is tied just below the junction. Polaran also sits in Meleri. Also, Amma Theiyam is also worshiped as Potan Theiyam's mother deity in some ancestral homes.
