മലക്കാരി തെയ്യം
ഇതൊരു ആൺ തെയ്യവും പോരാളി തെയ്യവുമാണ്. കഥയനുസരിച്ച്, മലക്കാരി തെയ്യത്തിന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നിസ്വാർത്ഥമായ ത്യാഗത്തിന് ശേഷം ആരാധനാലയം ലഭിച്ചു.
ഈ തെയ്യം വാൾ പിടിച്ച് കാട്ടുവേലകൾ ചെയ്യാൻ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ചില ആചാരങ്ങളിൽ തെയ്യം നാളികേരം പൊട്ടിക്കും.
കണ്ണൂരിലെ കുറ്റിയാട്ടൂർ പഴശ്ശി വെടിയേര ചുകന്നമ്മ കോട്ടത്തിലും (ഫെബ്രുവരി 18 മുതൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി 19 വരെ) തലശ്ശേരി മൂഴിക്കര ചന്ദ്രോത്ത് ഭഗവതി കാവിലും (ഫെബ്രുവരി 3 മുതൽ ഫെബ്രുവരി 5 വരെ) മലക്കാരി തെയ്യം കെട്ടിയാടുന്നു.

This is a male Theiya and a warrior Theiya.
According to the story, Malakari Theiyat got the shrine after his selfless sacrifice.
This Theyam is known to carry swords and do forest work. In some rituals, they break coconuts.
Malakari Theyam is tied at Kuttiyattur Pazassi Photyera Chukannamma Kottam in Kannur (February 18 to February 19) and Thalassery Moozhikara Chandroth Bhagavathy Kavi (February 3 to February 5).
